Job Summary
General Manager/Operating Partner oversees drive-in operations and staff, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, scheduling, and disciplinary actions. Responsible for cost control (food, labor, inventory), guest experience, opening/closing duties, issue escalation for guests and employees, operational reporting, local marketing, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with laws and company standards. Leads regular team meetings, maintains records, oversees sanitation, and performs as-needed station duties across fountain, frozen, drive-thru, kitchen stations, and related tasks. Requires minimum 50 hours/week with nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-service restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
- Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
- Knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Leadership and team-building experience
- Ability to manage equipment maintenance and vendor performance
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
- Attendance and reliability requirements
