Job Summary
General Manager/Operating Partner responsible for leading and managing the drive-in’s operations and employees, directing compensation, ensuring guest satisfaction, overseeing opening/closing, resolving guest and employee issues, controlling costs and inventory, leading team meetings, maintaining records and operational reports, and developing local marketing and performance action plans. Oversees facility maintenance, vendor performance, policy compliance, sanitation, and station duties as needed. Requires minimum 50 hours/week, with irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; education of high school diploma or equivalent and restaurant management experience (3+ years) with strong leadership and operational, financial, and regulatory knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
- Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to manage cost-control, inventory, food, labor, and supplies
