Job Summary
General Manager/Operating Partner leads drive-in operations and staffing, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management of assistant managers and employees. Responsible for managing labor, food, inventory, and equipment costs to optimize guest experience and operational efficiency; oversees opening/closing, guest and employee issue escalation, vendor performance, records, and reporting; drives local marketing and business performance initiatives; ensures compliance with policies, laws, and sanitation standards; maintains continuous sanitation and cleaning duties and shift coverage. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and typically 3+ years of restaurant management experience; expects minimum of 50 hours per week with irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Location-based responsibilities situated in Columbus, GA (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Experience: At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
- Experience: Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- Experience: Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees
- Skills: Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws, etc.)
- Skills: Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- Skills: Effective verbal and written communication
- Skills: Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution abilities
