Job Summary

General Manager/Operating Partner is the drive-in’s top management role responsible for leading and managing operations and employees. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, scheduling, directing, disciplining, and terminations of assistant managers and staff; managing compensation within company guidelines; overseeing all drive-in operations to ensure optimal guest experience; handling opening/closing duties; escalating guest and employee issues; planning and adjusting food, labor, paper, and inventory for cost-control and quality; leading regular team meetings; maintaining records and operational reports; developing and executing local marketing and business-performance actions; ensuring maintenance of equipment, vendor performance, compliance with policies and laws; enforcing sanitation and operational standards; and performing station duties as needed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred), strong leadership and multi-tasking abilities, and knowledge of labor and safety regulations. Time/shift expectations include minimum 50 hours per week, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes leadership, operations management, guest service, staff development, budgeting, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
  • Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
  • Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Problem-solving, multi-tasking, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to manage inventory, cost-control, and vendor performance
  • Ability to develop and manage action plans and operational reports
  • Ability to supervise and maintain recordkeeping and sanitation standards
