Job Summary
General Manager of NH Collection New York Madison Avenue responsible for all aspects of luxury hotel performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and financial success while upholding Forbes Five-Star standards, brand integrity, and exceptional guest journeys. Lead operations across Rooms Division and Food & Beverage, partner with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to maximize market share and profitability, manage a team with a focus on service excellence, and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and service across the property. Serve as ambassador to the local community, own labor-relations dynamics, and drive sustainability and experiential programming aligned with the hotel’s luxury positioning. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, with minimum 5 years GM experience in luxury/hospitality leadership, and fluency in Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of General Manager experience within a luxury hotel, lifestyle hotel, or flagship urban hospitality environment.
- Proven success leading upper-upscale or luxury properties in highly competitive gateway markets.
- Demonstrated expertise overseeing both Rooms Division and Food & Beverage operations.
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards, including Forbes Travel Guide and LQA service expectations.
- Proven success driving NOI, TRevPAR, EBITDA performance, guest satisfaction, and long-term asset value.
- Deep knowledge of the New York City hospitality market, including labor relations, compliance requirements, and competitive dynamics.
- Previous union leadership experience required.
