Job Summary
General Manager for a new Fishers, IN restaurant opening. Lead pre-opening planning, recruit and develop a top-tier team, oversee daily operations from reservations to kitchen coordination, drive exceptional guest experiences, and manage the budget, inventory, and profitability. Build culture and standards for service excellence, collaborate with Kitchen Manager on menu updates, and participate in cooking as needed. Responsibilities include establishing operational standards, leading a high-performing team across front-of-house and back-of-house, driving marketing initiatives, managing vendor relations, and ensuring health, safety, and sanitation compliance. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record in upscale casual to fine dining concepts and the ability to thrive in a high-expectation environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a full-service restaurant environment
- Experience leading elevated, fine dining concepts is strongly preferred
- Ability to work varying hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, and industry trends
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems
