Job Summary
Lead the Buildcore Business Unit across Peninsular Malaysia, driving commercial growth in infrastructure, utilities, and property sectors while taking full accountability for the Central Region's performance and profitability. Oversee operations to expand market presence in construction materials, precast, and spun concrete products, and strengthen strategic partnerships to position the client as the preferred infrastructure solutions provider. Manage regional business growth, P&L, and strategic planning with an entrepreneurship mindset, balancing commercial expansion with operational excellence and performance culture development. Extensive travel to the assigned region and plant and HQ office is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience within construction materials, precast concrete, heavy manufacturing, infrastructure, or engineering industries.
- Minimum 8 years in senior management or General Management roles with full commercial accountability.
- Strong experience managing regional business growth, P&L, strategic planning, and commercial operations.
- Entrepreneurship mindset.
- Ability to balance commercial growth with operational excellence.
- Ability to develop a strong performance culture.
- Willingness and readiness to travel extensively to the assigned region and to plant and HQ office.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in Bursa Malaysia listed companies/MNC is highly preferred.
