Job Summary
General Manager responsible for day-to-day leadership, operational effectiveness, and financial performance of the company. Collaborates with CFO and subsidiary leadership to develop and execute strategic plans, monitor performance, drive revenue growth and profitability, manage production and quality assurance, oversee pricing, customer relationships, and sales targets, lead workforce strategy including union relations, and sustain an ethical, high-performing culture across manufacturing operations in Langley, BC and Edmonton, AB. Requires senior leadership experience, strong financial oversight, production process expertise, stakeholder management, and ability to drive year-over-year growth while ensuring safety and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (asset)
- 7+ years in a senior management role with manufacturing operations experience
- leadership experience in production, operations, and unionized environments preferred
- strong financial acumen, budgeting, and strategic planning capabilities
- ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact with Board/Executives
- excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- experience driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence
- knowledge of health and safety programs and compliance
- experience with change management and organizational development
- ability to travel between Langley and Edmonton sites as required
