Job Summary
General Manager at Menzies Aviation leads station operations with a Safety-First culture, ensuring compliance with MA Safety, Security, Quality, and Training policies, governance and regulatory requirements. Responsible for financial performance, budgeting, staffing and scheduling, asset and inventory controls, and relationships with customers to drive service improvements and growth. Leads development and implementation of safety programs, emergency plans (ERP/EAP/BCP), audits and inspections, and ensures adherence to corporate governance. Oversees staff development, performance appraisals, and accountability, while pursuing new business opportunities and improving processes through data-driven leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Experience in business development, sales and commercial negotiation & pricing
- Wide ranging general management experience, with some years of senior management experience
- All applicants must hold requisite employment authority to work in the USA
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Possess and maintain current valid US driver’s license
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs
