Job Summary
Plan, organize, and control the division's Operations function, managing manufacturing, material management, sourcing, distribution, and product engineering while overseeing the P&L for the Jackson domestic product. Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing tools and Six Sigma to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. Lead capital improvement budget justification and develop short- and long-term product roadmaps with marketing and sales. Build a high-performing team, implement operations policies, and reduce warranty costs through design engineering and sourcing activities. Monitor OTIF metrics, lead facility development, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate human resource policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years as a General Manager in a manufacturing environment, with the responsibilities of producing, purchasing, inventory control, production control, and engineering, as well as shipping, receiving, and warehousing
- Ten+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of SAP or other enterprise resource planning software
