Job Summary
General Manager (Managing Partner) leads restaurant operations to achieve sales and profitability while maintaining high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. The role directs restaurant performance through management and team supervision, drives guest satisfaction, develops and implements sales and marketing initiatives, maintains controls over inventory and finances, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations. Key responsibilities include managing team members, fostering a positive team environment, and coordinating with the Area Director to achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Two (2) years prior experience as a General Manager for a full service, quick casual, or fast-food high-volume restaurant
- Ability to work 50 to 60 hours per week; flexibility for longer weeks during short-staff periods
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written); proficiency in primary language of the restaurant location (English)
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities; experience recruiting, training, and evaluating staff
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills; ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work across all shifts; flexibility to meet business needs
- Ability to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies
- Physical stamina for a fast-paced, high-energy environment; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Travel may be required for occasional meetings or visits; reliable transportation
