Job Summary
Direct store operations by acquiring customers, implementing sales and marketing programs, and deciphering financial statements to ensure profitable, safe, and professional results. Manage inventory, cash assets, and daily work schedules while recruiting, hiring, and training associates to meet target sales and revenue goals. Enforce company policies, conduct weekly staff meetings, and provide a clean environment for customers and associates. Requires in-person work at the specified location, over 21 years of age, and ability to lift up to 300 pounds or drive company vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree with course work in business, accounting, marketing or management
- Two years' experience in retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management or merchandising
- Must be over the age of 21 to drive a vehicle for work (insurance requirement)
- Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics
- Routine lifting, loading, and moving of merchandise (50-300 pounds) using a dolly
- Stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
- Prolonged periods of driving and standing
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor climates and weather conditions
- A detailed background check, including driving history and drug screening
