Job Summary
Direct store operations and sales leadership, including acquiring customers, implementing marketing programs, and meeting revenue goals. Manage inventory, cash assets, and merchandise availability while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local statutes. Prepare daily schedules, assign tasks, evaluate employee performance, and enforce company policies. Review financial statements, fill out corporate paperwork, and maintain company vehicles within safe operating standards. Recruit, hire, and train associates to ensure efficient operations. Provide a safe, clean environment for customers and staff while driving for work.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree with course work in business, accounting, marketing or management
- Two years' experience in retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management or merchandising
- Must be over the age of 21 to drive a vehicle for work (insurance requirement)
- Routine lifting, loading, and moving of merchandise (50-300 pounds) using a dolly
- Stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
- Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics
- Prolonged periods of driving and standing
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor climates and weather conditions
- A detailed background check, including driving history and drug screening
