Job Summary
General Manager responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operation of a luxury beachfront resort. Leads all hotel performance including guest satisfaction, financial results, employee engagement, sales and revenue growth, and asset preservation; ensures adherence to brand standards and ownership objectives. Key duties include planning and executing property strategic plans and budgets, managing labor and expenses, interviewing and developing staff, and serving on the property's Executive Committee. Requires proven leadership in luxury hotel/resort environments, strong financial acumen, and the ability to drive guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and staff development. Education and experience emphasize a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7–10 years in senior hotel leadership; knowledge of luxury-brand standards (Forbes/Relais & Châteaux) is highly desirable. The role also emphasizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and a collaborative culture, with a compensation package that includes base salary and incentive potential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive hotel leadership experience in a senior hotel leadership role such as General Manager, Resort Manager, Hotel Manager, or Director of Operations
- Experience with full-service, resort, luxury, or branded hotel operations preferred
- Strong leadership and team development skills; financial acumen; budget management; ability to drive guest satisfaction and operational performance
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment; create a culture of engagement and retention
