Job Summary
General Manager at Little Mama’s Italian responsible for leading a team of managers and hourly staff to deliver warm hospitality, authentic cuisine, and memorable guest experiences. Oversees daily operations, drives revenue growth, profitability, and guest satisfaction; ensures policy and brand standards compliance; manages budgets, forecasts, and cost controls; leads staffing, onboarding, and performance management; maintains food safety and cleanliness standards; builds vendor relationships and community partnerships; handles guest feedback with professionalism to exceed expectations. Requires 5+ years of leadership in upscale, high-volume restaurant settings, strong financial acumen (P&L, budgeting, forecasting), health standards knowledge, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; ServSafe certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the restaurant industry
- Deep understanding of restaurant financials including P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Knowledge of Mecklenburg County health and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing your team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management systems
- Ability to stand and move for 10–12 hours per shift
- Stamina to work up to 55 hours per week
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe Certification preferred
