Job Summary
Oversee branch operations for lumber, building materials, and windows, managing production, shipping, inventory, and hardware maintenance. Lead the safety program and review monthly financial statements to drive profitability and meet annual operating goals. Coordinate sales activities with the Market Sales Manager while engaging work teams to eliminate waste and maximize process efficiencies. Participate in daily through annual planning processes to direct resources effectively. This role is key to advancing company goals and delivering on customer promises as the lead representative of the operating company.
Required Qualifications
- Strong LBM operations background including demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- 5+ years of experience in LBM management
- High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to delegate responsibilities effectively
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment
- Works well with upper management as well as subordinates
- Well-versed in Microsoft products
