Job Summary
Dispensary General Manager responsible for day-to-day retail operations including staffing, training, scheduling, buying, visual merchandising, cash and inventory management, and compliance. Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensure exceptional patient/customer experience, manage vendor relationships, and uphold company culture and standards. Key duties include staff training, process improvements, policy execution, inventory control, end-of-month reconciliations, cash handling accuracy, product guidance for patients, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires strong leadership, fast-paced adaptability, and deep knowledge of cannabis products, dosing, and safety. Minimum five years in dispensary/retail or related roles; HS diploma or GED; degree preferred; proficient with retail POS and payment terminals; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in dispensary, retail, sales, hospitality or customer service
- Excellent computer and technical skills; familiarity with POS systems and credit card processing
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage cash handling and inventory; adherence to state regulations
