Job Summary
Own the overall performance of the boutique, driving sales, profitability, and long-term business growth by translating objectives into actionable strategies and analyzing key metrics. Lead by example on the sales floor to create a service-first culture, while recruiting, coaching, and developing a high-performing team committed to exceeding goals. Expand the brand's presence through community partnerships, local events, and strategic activations, serving as a brand ambassador to strengthen market awareness. Ensure exceptional execution across scheduling, visual merchandising, inventory management, and compliance to reflect brand standards. This role opens September 2026 for a leader with 5+ years of progressive retail experience to drive profitable growth within the Jonathan Adler brand.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience with full accountability for business performance, team development, and operational excellence
- Demonstrated success leading boutique, specialty, premium, or customer-focused retail environments
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics, develop commercial strategies, and drive profitable growth
- Proven ability to recruit, coach, and develop high-performing teams while building leadership bench strength
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across teams and cross-functional partners
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and lead through change
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel
- Ability to actively lead on the sales floor, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify, Endear CRM, Slack, and Google Workspace preferred
