Job Summary
Manage store operations by acquiring customers, deciphering financial statements, and ensuring adequate merchandise availability. Implement sales and marketing programs while maintaining company vehicles and managing inventory and cash assets. Recruit, hire, and train associates to meet target sales and revenue goals, preparing daily schedules and evaluating employee performance. Provide a safe, clean environment while complying with all applicable statutes. This in-person role requires physical stamina for lifting up to 300 pounds, traversing stairs, and prolonged driving. Candidates must be over 21 with a clean driving record. Training is provided to prepare you to run a store location within 120-180 days.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree with course work in business, accounting, marketing or management
- Two years' experience in retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management or merchandising
- Must be over the age of 21 to drive a vehicle for work
- Routine lifting, loading, and moving of merchandise (50-300 pounds) using a dolly
- Stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
- Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics
- Prolonged periods of driving and standing
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor climates and weather conditions
- A detailed background check, including driving history and drug screening
