Job Summary
Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives by managing and growing Professional Customer relationships while building team accountability. Lead daily operations through selection, hiring, development, and scheduling of store Team Members, ensuring execution of inventory, operational, and safety standards. Coach staff to deliver on Customer expectations for both DIY services and professional installations, including battery and wiper work. Review and analyze P&L statements to maintain profitability and financial metrics, while troubleshooting automotive systems and assisting with project quality recommendations. Work an average of 5-6 days per week in 11-hour shifts, including rotating nights and weekends, with additional hours as needed based on business demands.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 50-55 hours per week

- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10 - 20 Team Members
- Successful experience managing profitability
- Proven financial and business acumen
- Working knowledge of automotive systems
- Ability to speak and write English
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with Customers, peers and upper management
- Ability to use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel)
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, sales increases, and gross profit percent
- Ability to review and analyze business reports, such as profit and loss statement (P&L)
- Ability to hold others accountable, inspect work quality and give feedback
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Ability to become ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent
- Ability to execute and train project and product quality recommendations
- Ability to execute and train all store operational processes and procedures, and testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY services
- Ability to execute and train inventory systems and store equipment
- Ability to execute and train POS and Parts lookup systems
- Ability to review and analyze P&L statement
- Ability to recruit, select, hire and develop quality Team Members
- Ability to build and grow relationships with Professional Customers
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot and project assist for DIY
- Ability to develop and maintain Professional Customer relationships
- Ability to achieve financial metrics
- Ability to maintain service and appearance standards
- Ability to lead change management
