Job Summary
Lead the warehouse operations as a General Manager I - Distribution for DHL Supply Chain, overseeing day-to-day operations, implementing strategic processes to optimize warehouse performance, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include managing P&L, developing and coaching a high-performing team, building strong customer relationships, leveraging Tier 1 WMS (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or equivalent), coordinating cross-functional initiatives, ensuring safety/compliance, and delivering results through start-up implementations, customer deployments, and ongoing operations. Requires major leadership experience, a track record of launching and stabilizing operations, travel ~80%, and strong capability in process optimization, vendor management, and performance reporting (MBR/QBR). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; salary range $120,000-$155,000 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- General Manager experience OR Senior Operations Manager experience with full P&L ownership
- Proven full P&L management experience with demonstrated financial accountability
- Required experience building and developing strong site culture and high-performing teams
- Required experience working with Tier 1 WMS solutions (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or comparable enterprise systems)
- Required experience working directly with customers and managing customer relationships
- Required ability to travel approximately 80%
