Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping goods; develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity; lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching and building a strong team culture; ensure safety compliance and implement policies; utilize WMS, automation, and technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify improvement opportunities; manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services; prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics; lead customer relationships to ensure satisfaction; oversee the site's P&L and present MB/RQBR to customers, leveraging team collaboration; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred; 5+ years of managerial experience and 2+ years in warehousing/3PL are required; on-site role at Whiteland, IN.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience
- 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment
- Staff management, required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, preferred
- Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred
