Job Summary
General Manager responsible for overseeing all hotel resort operations at Callicoon Hills, including rooms, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, events, staffing, and financial performance. Lead daily operations, build a cohesive team culture, partner with sales and events to execute weddings and memorable guest experiences, maintain property quality and standards, and collaborate with ownership to implement scalable systems and processes. Brings 8+ years of hospitality leadership, a clear direct communication style, ownership mindset, and the ability to stay calm under pressure to deliver exceptional guest service.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hospitality leadership as a GM or equivalent at a hotel, resort, or lifestyle property
- experience with weddings or events or high-touch hospitality programming is a real plus
- strong communication style that is clear, direct, and human
- genuine enthusiasm for working with an ownership group and collaborative leadership
- ownership of outcomes and solutions-oriented approach
- calm under pressure and guest-focused leadership
- willingness to lead across departments including rooms, housekeeping, maintenance, F&B, events, staffing, and finance
