Job Summary
Oversee successful operations across all property departments, including Guest Services, Housekeeping, Restaurant & Bar, Sales & Marketing, Private Events, and Engineering. Manage on-site short term rentals, enforce Hay Creek Standard Operating Procedures, and lead associate management through recruitment, training, and performance reviews. Control overall hotel and departmental budgets by managing inventory, labor costs, and forecasting while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and labor laws. Develop sales and marketing strategies, coordinate third-party resources, and maintain positive employee relations to instill a fun work environment. Weekend availability for high volume days is required.
Required Qualifications
- Recent 3+ years Hotel General Manager experience
- Strong background in both Rooms Division and F&B operations
- Experience in luxury environment
- Excellent computer skills including; Excel, Word & Outlook
- Experience in Property Management and POS Software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Cost Management skills, with the ability to meet or exceed strict budgetary expectations
- Daily Revenue and P&L Reporting exposure and knowledge
- Successful completion of background check and/or DMV check
- Weekend availability for high volume days
Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in hotel forecasting preferred
