Job Summary
General Manager role overseeing all aspects of a cannabis dispensary's operations with a focus on leadership, sales performance, regulatory compliance, and people management. Responsibilities include hiring and staff development, payroll, scheduling, setting and tracking KPIs (ADS, UPT, Sell Through, payroll costs, and other store expenses), driving customer service and loyalty programs, inventory controls, METRC compliance, cash handling, visual merchandising, and omnichannel initiatives (drive-thru, delivery, online ordering). Requires coordinating with Regional/Market leadership, maintaining store standards, and ensuring operational excellence while meeting revenue and expense goals. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, with 2-5 years in a leadership role in retail/hospitality/cannabis and strong communication and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or can substitute experience for degree
- 2-5 years in a leadership position in retail, hospitality, service, or cannabis related industries
- Cannabis industry experience preferred
- Must be able to clear a background check
- Must have flexibility in working hours
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated capability in people management and culture building
- Demonstrated experience in cash and inventory management
- METRC Seed-to-Sales experience preferred
- Dutchie POS experience preferred
