Job Summary
Hire, manage, and train morning and afternoon golf staff, including the Assistant General Manager of Performance. Manage the location's P&L for golf-specific and retail offerings to achieve quarterly revenue targets. Liaise with the Director of Instruction to manage coach availability and performance against lesson and fitting revenue goals. Set and manage service standards, actively evaluate staff performance, and ensure guests' enjoyment by checking in on bookings and addressing concerns promptly. Maintain proficiency in golf simulator technology, ensuring quality control and organized equipment inventory. Build the membership community through events and local reciprocity efforts while clearly communicating needs to corporate representatives. Provide excellent account services from onboarding to termination, sell cross-sell across products, and adhere to all health, safety, and legal drinking age regulations. Report directly to the National Director of Golf.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for the game of golf
- Strong leadership ability and willingness to lead by example
- Exemplary communication, time management and organization skills
- Social and interpersonal skills required to cultivate meaningful relationships with our Guests
- Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology
- Upbeat energy and enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Ability to cultivate resolutions quickly and manage customer expectations
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Availability to be present in the space at high value times
- Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time and maneuver up and down stairs
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of hospitality, hotel, golf course/club, or sports management experience preferred
