Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of a convenience store/gas station, including employment management, merchandising, inventory control, financial management, cash handling, and loss prevention. Provide leadership to ensure excellent customer service, efficient cost-effective operations, and profitable growth by scheduling staff, managing vendor contracts for food and merchandise, and maintaining fuel levels and safety/security protocols. Direct employee training, resolve customer complaints, prepare payroll and audit reports, and coordinate store maintenance to meet local, state, and federal compliance requirements. Work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays with open availability.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends and requires open availability
- Must have exceptional people skills
- Must be able to direct supervisory and front-line staff
- Must be able to formulate plans, establish goals and produce measurable results
- Must be self-motivating and able to motivate employees
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Candidates are required to pass background check and drug test criteria
Desired Qualifications
- some college preferred
- Previous convenience store/gas station experience desirable
