Job Summary
General Manager responsible for the overall efficiency and technical operations of the restaurant, ensuring quality, timeliness, and hospitality. Leads by example, coaches staff, manages labor costs, resolves guest issues, builds guest relationships, oversees training and development, maintains cleanliness and facility maintenance, and drives vendor relations. Focuses on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and delivering consistent hospitality while managing store operations on the restaurant floor.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk 10 hours/day
- Ability to bend, lift, carry and stoop
- Ability to access all areas of the restaurant
- Ability to move items weighing 0-75lbs
- Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations
- Hazards include cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
- Most business done out of office on restaurant floor
- Holds a sense of urgency and intensity at all times
- Maintains cleanliness and maintenance of facility and equipment
- Maintains vendor relations
- Leadership experience in a hospitality/restaurant setting
- Proven ability to train and coach staff
- Strong guest service orientation
- Ability to manage labor costs and improve efficiency
- Experience in operations management and team development
- Freducation/training program familiarity
