General Manager - Food and Laundry Services

Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of dining services and laundry operations within the aged care sector, driving efficiency, safety, compliance, and customer-focused service delivery. Lead budgeting, governance, and risk management, recruit and develop a high-performing team, manage contracts and supplier relations, and collaborate with government and external stakeholders to achieve growth and sustainability. Drive data-driven decision-making, maintain food safety and health and safety standards (HACCP/CODEX), and ensure regulatory obligations are met while enabling resident-centred outcomes. Strong communication, negotiation, and senior-level leadership skills are essential; candidates should have demonstrated experience in large-scale food service programs, production planning, quality assurance, and contract development/management. Desirable qualifications include certificates or diplomas in related fields and formal QA/audit capabilities; vaccination status and probity checks are required.
