Job Summary
Lead store operations by recruiting and developing staff, managing product assortment and inventory, and analyzing margins to drive top-line sales and comp increases. Oversee the execution of individual development plans for all reports while ensuring strict adherence to safety, loss prevention, and customer service standards. Monitor wage and expense control programs to identify budget variances and take corrective action. Drive sales through superior merchandising skills, promote loyalty initiatives, and manage all aspects of Federal Firearm disposition, acquisition, and recordkeeping. This role requires 5+ years of big-box retail experience, frequent travel up to 75%, and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Big Box management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of retail operations, logistics, compliance, and merchandising
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 75%, including some nights/weekends)
- Ability to pass State and Federal background checks (Federal Firearm Licensing)
- Must be willing and able to relocate as needed to support business needs and career growth opportunities
