Job Summary
General Manager at Firehouse Subs responsible for the profitable operation of a fast casual Firehouse Subs restaurant. Oversees staffing, training, and development of a high-performance team; manages food and labor costs and P&L to drive profitability; ensures compliance with health, wage, and employment regulations; leads local marketing efforts and public-safety initiatives; maintains equipment and guest service standards; open availability to work weekends/nights and cash handling; requires 1+ years of management experience and strong leadership and customer-service skills. Located in Lafayette, CO, with on-site responsibilities and 13-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of management experience
- Able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours at a time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Open availability - ability to work weekends and some nights required
- Cash handling skills required
- Familiarity with Microsoft office required
- Top notch customer service skills
- Ability to lead and develop a strong team
- Understand and be able to manage food and labor costs
- Understand a Profit and Loss Statement and operate restaurant at maximum profitability
- As the General Manager, you will ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations including health, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA
- Be able to hire, train and motivate a high performance team
- Be accountable for staffing and development of Assistant Managers and Shift Managers
- Participate in Local Restaurant Marketing
- Promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives
- Maintain records and compliance
- Represent Firehouse Subs professionally
- Communicate issues effectively to owner
- Maintain equipment and operations
- Other duties as assigned
