Job Summary
Direct the financial affairs of the company by preparing financial analyses, including interim and financial statements, for management guidance. Maintain the system of financial records, oversee the FP&A function, Plant Controllers, and Cost Control group, and develop budgets and forecasts. Analyze variances proactively, establish financial policies, and consult on accounts payable, receivable, and cash management. Collaborate with headquarters in Japan, support internal and external audits, and review agreements with legal counsel. Ensure compliance with all policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while managing performance evaluations and wage recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- At least ten years of experience in accounting
- Manufacturing experience
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and systems
- Must possess above average math skills
- Must be able to work independently in the absence of supervision
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree – either an MBA or CPA
