Job Summary
Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards and lead the team to grow revenue through local marketing strategies and community events. Coach all staff members on systems, account management, and recovery while examining loan applications and processing transactions within established limits. Enforce quality standards and compliance, supervise security and cash management, and conduct opening/closing procedures and audits. Develop work schedules to ensure optimal staffing and handle complex customer situations with integrity. Maintain store appearance and facility needs, including overseeing planograms and conducting external appraisals. Work full-time, 40 hours per week, with regular in-person attendance including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check required
- The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
- A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
