Job Summary
Direct daily operations of all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Sales, while ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional service standards aligned with IHG brand expectations. Prepare and manage the annual budget and forecast, monitor expenses, and maximize room revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR through strategic collaboration with the Sales team. Recruit, train, and develop department heads and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and conducting regular performance reviews. Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal laws, maintain a safe environment for guests and employees, and act as the primary liaison with hotel ownership and Blue Sky Hospitality corporate office. Report to the Regional Vice President and participate in required brand initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience
- 2+ years as a General Manager
- Proven leadership in managing hotel operations and delivering results
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with IHG brand hotels
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
