Job Summary
Seeking an experienced General Manager for a high-volume brunch spot in San Francisco. Responsibilities include leading operations, team development, financial oversight, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Requires 6–8 years of management experience and a current ServSafe certification.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of progressive restaurant or hospitality management, with at least 3 years as a General Manager or senior leader.
- Strong understanding of California labor laws, wage-and-hour compliance, and workplace safety.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Current California ServSafe Food Manager certification (or equivalent) and ability to maintain required food-safety certifications.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, P&L oversight, and vendor relations.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced skills in POS and restaurant management software (Toast preferred).
- Track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams in an upscale dining or scratch-kitchen setting.
- Strong guest-service orientation with the ability to handle escalated issues diplomatically.
