Job Summary
General Manager of operations responsible for the strategic direction, compliance, and financial results for a designated operation. Serves as primary customer interface for proposals and contract negotiations, champions Lean practices, Six Sigma initiatives, and ISO activities, and develops marketing plans to grow new business. Ensures safety, regulatory compliance, budgeting and cost controls, and achievement of service level targets. Leads vendor relationships, oversees budgeting, and mentors leadership within the site. Oversees automation/technology plans, customer relationship management, and maintains strong client service. Requires experience in logistics/distribution with a track record of leadership, P&L management, and cross-functional collaboration. Must have a high school diploma/GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred; base pay range cited as $112,400.00 – $168,600.00 annually. Proficiency in MS Office and WMS systems; ability to work in warehouse environments across temperature ranges; strong organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 5 years’ leadership experience in logistics/distribution/supply chain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS systems
- Strong communication skills (English)
