Job Summary
Monitor full hotel operations and financial performance while guiding leaders and team members. Manage expenses, labor costs, and revenue to ensure financial success. Confer with administrative personnel to review reports and adjust programs based on market trends and segment behavior. Develop programs that foster teamwork and compliance with employment laws, while overseeing facility maintenance and safety protocols. Lead staff by example to build morale and increase retention. Accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hotel Management or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years varied management experience in the hotel industry
- Fluently speak, read and understand English
- Familiar with OSHA
- Familiar with local Department of Health regulations
- Familiar with relevant current laws governing the handling of hazardous substances
- Ability to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand/walking more than half the time
- Ability to carry/lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend/twisting
- Ability to climb stairs
