Job Summary
Manage all shift operations, including cost controls, inventory, cash handling, and customer relations. Set the example by following all policies while ensuring your crew adheres to standards for staffing, food management, store cleanliness, and profitability. Process telephone and in-person orders, operate equipment, stock ingredients, and navigate delivery routes while carrying product. Maintain punctuality and attendance, and handle adverse weather and physical demands including lifting heavy cases and climbing stairs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must be able to navigate five or more flights of stairs
- Must be able to stoop and bend forward at the waist
- Must be able to reach above 72 inches
- Must be able to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Depth perception
- Far vision and night vision for driving
- Ability to talk and hear on telephone
- Ability to process telephone orders
