Job Summary
General Manager responsible for day-to-day operations and ensuring superior guest experience and profitability at Desert 5 Spot DC. Lead restaurant operations, budgeting/forecasting, policy enforcement, marketing initiatives, and cross-functional team development. Oversee guest service standards, health/safety and responsible alcohol service, staff recruiting/training, performance management, up-selling strategies, and implementing tools to drive efficiency and hospitality excellence. Strong emphasis on leadership, communication, and operational excellence to maintain the venue’s hospitality standards and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years’ experience in management role within hospitality/nightlife/bars
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Proactive, creative leadership; strong decision-making and analytical skills
- Experience with hospitality technology systems (Resy, Micros) and Microsoft Office/Excel
