Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive Guest service experience while ensuring high levels of Guest satisfaction through effective employee training and empowerment. The role involves hiring quality personnel, evaluating employee performance, and continuously improving team dynamics. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the restaurant's business plan, overseeing fiscal responsibilities, enforcing compliance with labor laws, maintaining food safety standards, and driving team performance. Strong financial and analytical skills, as well as effective communication and organizational capabilities, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years in management position (preferably restaurant experience)
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling and P & L management
- Organizational, planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
