Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for creating a positive Guest service environment, responding quickly to Guest concerns, and ensuring consistent Guest satisfaction through effective training and empowerment of employees. This role involves developing and executing the business plan which includes fiscal responsibilities, manpower planning, and local restaurant marketing. The General Manager also enforces labor laws, upholds food safety standards, and is driven by performance metrics. Candidates should have 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a restaurant, and possess strong financial, organizational, and communication skills. Full-time commitment is required with the ability to work flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years in management position (preferably restaurant experience)
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling and P & L management
- Organizational, planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
