Job Summary
General Manager sought for an upscale, high-volume restaurant. You will act as the Conductor of the house, leading a large team in a fast-paced environment, owning training and development of the management team and hourly staff, building a positive, inclusive culture, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining profitability. Responsibilities include mentoring staff to create a bench of leadership, driving hiring and retention, maintaining floor-present leadership to exceed guest touchpoints, and mastering the P&L by managing labor, overhead, and beverage costs. Ideal candidate has 5+ years of GM experience in upscale, high-volume full-service operations and a proven track record of developing internal talent into leadership roles; possesses calm, approachable leadership and strong knowledge of upscale service, wine/spirit nuances, and maintaining a high-quality physical environment. Compensation includes a base salary of $100,000 plus performance bonuses, with full benefits and an executive career path.
