Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure an excellent member experience and manage financial success. Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members. Direct management includes setting weekly schedules, assigning responsibilities, and conducting meetings to set goals. Coach and develop team members to drive sales performance while ensuring timely resolution to member inquiries. Monitor team performance against KPI standards, maintain clean facilities, and manage payroll and scheduling. Command all offerings, amenities, and equipment utilization while overseeing inventory and retail sales. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of fitness facility management experience
- Experience with supervising a team
- Experience with business operations such as finance, administration, and labor management
- CPR/AED certification
- Ability to take assertive action to accomplish objectives, innovate and solve problems
- Knowledge of key metrics and drivers to grow the gym level business
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite or similar software
