Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Bollington Brewing Taproom, managing team leadership, stock control, and cellar standards to protect gross profit. Oversee labour organisation, event execution, and customer service while maintaining cask quality from delivery through dispense. Work five days over seven with rotating weekend hours, potentially extending to 45 hours weekly, to support trading needs and private events. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to drive operational efficiency and brand representation. This role offers the chance to rebuild momentum at the brewery's flagship venue, supported by experienced leadership and staff discounts.
Required Qualifications
- experience in a hospitality management role within a wet-led environment
- strong practical knowledge of cask ale and cellar management
- experience managing stock, margins and operational controls
- Is confident leading and developing a team
- Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in high standards
- Is commercially aware, organised and solution focused

- Hours will vary according to the needs of the business and may be up to 45 hours per week
- Lead, motivate and manage the team, setting clear expectations and holding standards
- Drive a positive, accountable team culture
- Take full ownership of stock management, ordering and margin control
- Protect GP through disciplined stock control and wastage reduction
- Be personally responsible for cellar standards and cask quality
- Ensure beer lines and cellar procedures are maintained to best practice at all times
- Oversee rotas, labour organisation and operational efficiency
- Deliver consistent service standards and strong customer experience
- Support and execute events professionally
- Represent the brewery brand with credibility and pride

Desired Qualifications
- Formal cellar training or significant hands-on cellar experience
- You may already be a General Manager or a strong Deputy ready to step up
