Job Summary
General Manager – Construction Division provides strategic and operational leadership for the pool construction division, with full accountability for P&L, budgeting, forecasting, project execution, and customer satisfaction. Leads a high-performing team of project managers, superintendents, and field personnel; drives profitability, operational excellence, and growth while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to high quality standards. Collaborates with ownership and senior leadership on strategic plans; maintains strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors; champions safety and a culture of excellence across all job sites. Based in or willing to relocate to the Cincinnati, OH area with ability to travel to job sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction operations
- Proven experience leading a construction division or large business unit with full financial accountability
- Background in specialty construction, luxury residential, commercial, or complex project environments preferred
- Relevant construction or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) preferred
- Experience managing large-scale, high-value, and complex construction projects
- Multi-project oversight across multiple job sites
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership
- Deep understanding of construction scheduling, risk management, and quality control
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Cincinnati, OH area
- Ability to travel locally to job sites as required
