Job Summary
Drive revenue success and operational oversight for the Dayton Branch by making strategic recommendations to the Regional VP and implementing supply chain and service excellence strategies. Manage a team of field sales professionals through recruitment, performance coaching, and development planning while directly engaging with customers and suppliers to achieve branch and team goals. Serve as the primary liaison to corporate stakeholders in finance, marketing, and supply chain, utilizing data analysis to facilitate process improvements and solve complex problems. Based in Ohio with up to 30-40% regional travel, this role supports Arrow's mission to make life better through technology across hardware, software, and data sectors.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of proven sales and sales leadership experience
- 5+ years of experience working for an electrical component distributor
- 5+ years of experience working for a manufacturers rep for components
- 5+ years of experience working with manufacturers reps for electronic components or IP&E products
- Knowledge of Semiconductor and IP&E suppliers
- Must be based in Ohio
- Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership
- Ability to travel regionally up to 30-40%
Desired Qualifications
- Prior success leading, mentoring, and motivating a field sales team
- Experience within electronics distribution
- Strong business acumen and budgetary management experience
- The ability to build and leverage relationships and identify key decision makers
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills in English
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent relationship and team building skills
- Experience using Salesforce CRM
- Solid competencies in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Ideally experience with Oracle
