Job Summary
Manage overall store performance by meeting company standards, coaching team members to build new business and increasing growth, and leading local marketing strategies to drive revenue. Examine and process loan applications while enforcing quality standards, procedures, and local laws. Supervise office security, cash management, and loss prevention, including verifying cash overages/shortages and maintaining vaults. Conduct proper opening and closing procedures, train new staff in keyholder duties, and participate in hiring and retention. Handle complex customer situations with integrity, monitor store appearance, and perform on-site vehicle appraisals or store errands. Maintain a full-time 40-hour schedule with regular in-person attendance including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Must be available for weekends
- Full-time work schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
