Job Summary
General Manager at a venue in Saint Louis responsible for day-to-day operations, maintaining professional image and cleanliness, managing service contracts and vendor relationships, preparing operations statements and financial disclosures, controlling P&L, cash handling, inventory and labor, ensuring deposits are secured, overseeing cost of goods sold and nightly reports, ensuring safety and guest satisfaction, and recruiting/training/leading management staff. Requires 5+ years in restaurant/nightclub management, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to manage schedules and adapt to a fast-paced environment, and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 4 year college degree or equivalent (preferred)
- At least 5 years experience in restaurant/nightclub management
- Must speak fluent English
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Proven ability to lead a team and communicate effectively
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays
