Job Summary
Lead all operational aspects of the civil earthwork and site development division, overseeing earthwork, grading, underground utilities, paving coordination, and overall project execution across multiple commercial and industrial developments. Develop and mentor project managers, superintendents, and field leadership while driving safety, quality, production, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Establish clear expectations, create accountability, and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Partner with estimating and business development to support sustainable growth, building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments. Make timely, well-reasoned decisions based on facts, champion Clear's values, and help build a culture where people enjoy coming to work and winning together.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading a large civil earthwork/site development organization
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage operations, people, schedules, budgets, and profitability
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil, earthwork, or site development
- Demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale projects and teams simultaneously
- Strong understanding of estimating, project management, scheduling, equipment utilization, and financial performance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- History of building high-performing teams and developing future leaders
