Job Summary
Own Chumba Casino's P&L end-to-end, managing revenue, gross margin, promotion costs, and ROI by working the actual levers rather than reviewing dashboards. Build a deep view of the market and competition to set strategy and roadmap, ensuring product, live ops, and growth bets align with market movements. Diagnose performance drivers and guide teams to solutions by pulling apart funnels, questioning KPI definitions, and spotting flawed assumptions. Set commercial goals for product and live ops while leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams across locations. The role requires 10+ years in digital commercial leadership with direct experience in social casino or high-stakes gaming, fluency with data-driven decision-making, and the ability to personally engage with numbers and front-line teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in digital commercial leadership
- Experience owning the P&L for a large scale consumer app or game at $100M+ annual revenue
- Direct operating experience in social casino, real money gaming, or a comparable high stakes consumer app
- Experience overseeing applications with a dual currency or hybrid monetization model
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of 100+
- Proven history of senior roles in product or live ops in social casino or high scale casual gaming
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building and leading high performing teams across disciplines and locations, including leaders who report to you
- A track record of getting personally into the numbers
- Ability to clearly explain how certain KPIs convert into business value
- Ability to build or unpick a cohort model
- Ability to catch a flawed metric definition without waiting for an analyst
- History of hiring and developing senior leaders
- Deep enough knowledge in how every component of an application is managed to be a credible contributing and challenging voice at any table
- Fluency with the data behind the numbers
- Comfortable communicating directly with front lines teams or through a well crafted boardroom deck
